Inspiration Board: Raspberry

Growing up in Boston, I have fallen completely in love with the city. I'm excited by the energy of surrounding people and appreciate the gorgeous architecture of buildings and landmarks. The beauty of Boston is something I would love to incorporate into my wedding someday. Perhaps a breathtaking view of the city from a reception venue's window or an afternoon spent in the commons snaping engagement photos. Within today's inspiration board hints of Boston are featured.…purple Continue

Taking Time for Two

There is so much excitement and energy surrounding a wedding that often the day seems to whiz right by you. So I believe it is very important to take a moment and stop, look around you, and appreciate all the time, effort, and especially love that went into making your wedding unforgettable.

This brings me to this super cute moment from Amy & Kyle's Wedding. I absolutely love the… Continue

Bring the Beauty of Ireland to Your Wedding

With March right around the corner, our thoughts turn to that most festive of holidays, St. Patrick’s Day. Although this holiday celebrates the feast of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland, you don’t need to be of Irish descent to celebrate the beauty and culture of Ireland at your wedding.

St. Paddy’s celebrations usually consist of wearing green, eating Irish foods and drinking Guinness or Irish Cream. Incorporating these elements into a St. Paddy’s or March wedding are fun,… Continue

A Common Place

One of Massachusetts beloved historical landmarks is Boston Common. This park is the oldest in the country and what was once filled with important historical figures, today is filled with Boston locals.

Weddings in the Movies

Over the years, Hollywood has given us many different kinds of movies that have weddings or wedding themes woven into the plot. From romantic comedies to teary eyed dramas, audiences relate to the excitement and nervous tension that wedding stories provide.

Sweets to the rescue

I love candy buffets. They are so fun to plan and execute. It is a great little favor for your guests, not to mention a fun way to show off your style. Candy buffets can take on many forms - themes, colors, types, or just a hodge podge of your childhood favorites. I have seen old and young flock to these tables just to sample the sweets and maybe take home some treats in cute bags with your initials on them.

A Beautiful Relationship

There are times when a bride comes along that you just love. Melissa was one of those wonderful people - sweet and kind, generous with her spirit and very genuine. When she offered me some of her pictures to post, I couldn't say no. Her wedding was last fall - a great time of year in Iowa to get married. Their ceremony was in Ames with their reception at Seven Oaks Recreational Center in Boone. You can see by their pictures that they had a beautiful day!
