Film

Today I busted out my Hasselblad 503 and shot some images of my son and our garden. Once I get them processed I will post. I'm so excited!! It feels so vintage and real in my hands. I can't believe I began my photography journey with film and now all I can do is relate to it as if it's an antiquated medium.

Look Beautiful on Your Day

Look Natural: Simply grasp flowers and hold them no higher that you naval. This tip will help you to avoid the biggest wedding offender. The stiffly held bouquet.

Do Not Over Accessorize: Always remember your gown, veil, and bouquet count as accessories. Keep it simple, work your look around one memorable piece.

Work with the Shape of Your Face: Remember with the hair style and veil that width add width and that length adds length. If you have a narrow face add width with your hair or… Continue

Your Honeymoon

Do you know that major resorts in the Caribbean, Mexico, and Hawaii, are offering steep discounts for the remaining 2009 season? As we all know, if a business can break even in this economy, your ahead of the game. Major resorts that are typically winter vacations had a tough 2009 winter. This is good news if you are taking a honeymoon before their December holiday crowds come in! Resorts are giving away their rooms, and airfare is not too bad either!

To name a few, the brand new Zoetry… Continue

“Going Green” – What Does It Mean, Especially in Regards to Your Wedding?

When one of my dearest friends from college, a self-proclaimed “environmentalist,” informed me that she was planning a green wedding, I had no clue what she was referring to.

I assumed that what she meant was that she was going to recycle the wedding gift paper, along with the beer and champagne bottles, the day after her festive event. However, over the course of her year long planning process, I was consistently inspired by the depth of committment for the planet that both her and her… Continue

The Season Begins

As a wedding photography studio based in two cities (Atlanta and Boston) we have two distinct seasons. For New England, this late April weekend is traditionally the start of the wedding season. So for all our New England colleagues, here's to a great 2009 season. We had so much fun last night photographing a beautiful event at the Boston Harbor Hotel. We are looking forward to connecting with many fantastic New England wedding vendors over the next few months.
