A Family Affair

At first I was hesitant to photograph my Brothers wedding rather than be a guest. But as we were talking over potential wedding dates, he said he, “wanted the best”. Naturally, that got me teary-eyed and I knew I didn’t really have a choice.

My family knows what I do but they never really got to see me in action. They only ever got to see the finished product. As you can imagine, I was very nervous. Actually, more so than I had ever been about a shoot.

However, the day progressed like… Continue

How to save on your wedding photographer

Many photographers have pricing packages that range from low to high. If you find the photographer who would price each item for you, you can then ask if you went with a few items now would they be fine if you got some items later. Makes sense right.

There is a minimum that each photographer will hold themselves too, to simply come and shoot a wedding.

So if you only have a $1000 or less for your photo budget I would suggest this because you want to be able to get great… Continue

Jose and Carmen

Jose and Carmen were excited to be celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary, but their kids had bigger plans. They gave their parents the wedding they never had. Jose and Carmen had eloped in a very intimate ceremony 25 years ago. They started a family and had a very happy life. When it came to deciding how to commemorate their 25 years together, their three kids took control. Yesenia, Mickey, and Veronica planned an entire wedding ceremony complete with gown, tux, wedding cake and 200 of… Continue

Bridal Fair at Hidden Valley Retreat and Spa

Hidden Valley Retreat and Spa is one of the most beautiful places to hold any function, especially weddings. We could have spent an entire weekend soaking in this gorgeous location. The great team at Hidden Valley made the day feel like a gathering of old friends rather than a standard bridal fair. We thank you for allowing us to be a part of it! Congratulations to all of the couples! You all are going to be beautiful brides and handsome grooms!…

From the Collegeville Times Herald.....

The Whole Package

You could say that five designing women were thinking outside the box when they came up with the idea of packaging their talents inside a box.

Specifically, “A Wedding in a Box.”

The friends’ services and products — custom jewelry, honeymoon planning, photography, makeup consulting and yoga/massage — don’t literally come packed in a box, of course.

But for the time and… Continue

Please Don't Stop the Music

We have all been to those weddings where the music is geared more towards the Little Richard generation and less towards the Lil Wayne generation. Not that there isn’t something to be said about the oldies. “Run Around Sue” is favorite and anytime a Jackson 5 song comes on, you can be sure the dance floor is filled. However, 5 hours of oldies is fitting for a retirement party not your wedding party.

Brideliners are wondering...did you choose those songs or did you get bullied into it… Continue
