Got your attention? Good. If you are planning a wedding or have a friend/family member that is, please read this and share it as we are hoping to help you NOT have a lousy wedding.

Think about what you want for your wedding? Do you want a great party where your guests are having an amazing…

Eric recently came across an article on Mobile Beat Magazine that he shared with me and it brought up some really interesting points regarding the factors that go into filling the dance floor at a wedding reception.

One of the fabulous things about wedding reception music is that you get to listen and dance to songs from many decades. To add to the fun at a reception, the wedding DJ's at Avid Entertainment love to play a 90's…

Or those DIY brides and grooms spend a lot of time coming up with the perfect option to add to the decor and color of their wedding theme. With all that money and time invested, it would be a shame for the centerpieces to be thrown out, and what newlywed couple wants to…

Attending so many weddings as Boston wedding DJ's, we get the opportunity to see such a variety of different wedding styles and decor that the bride and groom have chosen. At the same time, we get to see the latest trends in weddings first hand. An industry trend that is becoming ever so popular, and is my all time favorite, is the candy buffet! Having a candy buffet fits several different purposes for the bride and groom and their wedding:
First, the…

Your “Do Not Play List” – every couple has one, some are short, but others can be pages long.
The wedding music should certainly be tailored to your musical tastes and both represent who you are as a couple and remind you of points in your relationship or times growing up.
At Avid Entertainment, we encourage couples to provide us with input regarding the wedding music and…

On April 16th Scotia Entertainment provided DJ Services for Rob & Lauryn’s wedding at The Old Mill Inn in Toronto. Another great wedding and party! Lauryn and her bridesmaids labeled the later part of the party ‘Club Lauryn’ and somehow came up with the nickname ‘Heavy T’ for me!
Here are some photos courtesy of Amys Imaging…

A lot has been written about "specializing" in weddings in order to insure a great wedding experience. For the most part that can be true.
However the exception to the rule is a company whose dedication to excellence, ethics, hospitality, attention to detail and overall production value is of the highest caliber that they consistently produce great special events. …

Keep your main décor choices leaning towards the classic. Why? Trendy becomes passé very quickly and you don’t want your wedding to look dated before you even get your wedding photo album. Then adding in your trendy and or elaborate wow factor in touches will make it more timeless and impactful while at the same time still blowing away your guests. In addition, WOW FACTOR is just that, touches of over the top sprinkled through out your wedding ceremony and…
