Jeff and Chanel.Hotel St. Michael, Prescott

On June 2, 2012, we did a job at the Hotel St. Michael is Prescott, Arizona.  Chanel, the bride, told me later that she chose Digital Expressions because we were the first (and fastest) company to respond to her inquiry.  Chanel did all of her planning from Los Angeles, where she lives.  When she told me that she didn't want to use a backdrop and she wanted the reception to be the backdrop, and she wanted an open photo booth.  I thought that was an interesting concept.  One afternoon, we…

Charlie and Merisa.Longbow Golf Course

This wedding was at the Longbow Golf Course on March 23, 2012, which is especially fitting since Charlie Belgan is a professional golfer on the PGA tour.  Merisa was at a wedding we did in November 2011 and was so impressed that she hired us.  Merisa has the best smile and she looked good in every single picture she took.  Charlie and Merisa make such a cute couple and I could tell just by looking at them that this was a marriage made in heaven.  …

Our Photo Station Business

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would become a blogger.  I mean, who would be interested in what I have to say?  Well, it turns out, I have a lot to say.  Maybe I'll just be writing down words like I'm talking to myself and maybe eventually I will have feedback.  Whatever the case, I think it will be quite cathartic for me.  We have so much going on in our lives every day and every day I remember that I have it pretty darn good. …

Alternative Hen Parties for Chic Hens

Wedding Shoes

Succumb by the desire to obtain “cute” shoes many people disregard the importance of comfort.  The craving for fancy shoes is understandable, but certain considerations should be made before you settle on the most glamorous pair of shoes.

  • How long will you be stuck in your shoes? This should include time getting ready, possibly helping set up and clean up for the wedding, and not just the allotted time for the ceremony and reception.
  • Do you have time to break the shoes…

“Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope.” Dr. Seuss

This week’s blog is all about doing things a little differently, with a little help from Dr. Seuss.
