A Beautiful Relationship

There are times when a bride comes along that you just love. Melissa was one of those wonderful people - sweet and kind, generous with her spirit and very genuine. When she offered me some of her pictures to post, I couldn't say no. Her wedding was last fall - a great time of year in Iowa to get married. Their ceremony was in Ames with their reception at Seven Oaks Recreational Center in Boone. You can see by their pictures that they had a beautiful day!

Garden Seed Favors for Your Spring Wedding

Have you ever gone to a wedding and received some kind of trinket as a memento of the occasion? It may have been made of glass, wood, or china, and whether it was attractive or not, it probably wasn't something you wanted to display in your home. So you either put it out anyway, out of courtesy to the bride and groom, tucked it away in a cupboard somewhere, or tossed it in the trash.

Is that something you want to impose on your wedding guests? I… Continue

How to make your wedding theme stand out?

Why choose a theme if no one will notice? Your theme is all about your thoughts and emotions towards your special day. Starting from your bridesmaids to your fingernails, it should express your sentiments. These sentiments are often expressed in words, colours, images and sometimes a mixture of the lot. However you choose to showcase your wedding theme make sure it's consistent and down to the last detail.

Wedding deco ideas for a 4 elements themed wedding

I am having an outdoor wedding/reception in late July of 2011. My colors are mostly inspired by fire, but I would like to represent all 4 elements(earth, wind, water and fire) into the deco. I have earth, fire and water covered. I am stuck on wind. Anyone have any ideas on how I might be able to work that into my deco?

As a side note, this is more of a large intimate and casual reception/pigroast in my sisters backyard.
